The Comptroller’s Office was established by State Statute to maintain the County’s financial records, pay all claims, and account for all receipts, disbursements, and nonmonetary financial transactions for Humboldt County. These records are open to the public.
Divisions
To fulfill these duties, the Comptroller’s Office is organized as follows:
Finance, Budget and Administration Prepares, maintains, and reports the financial information of the County in accordance with statutory reporting and regulatory requirements.
Accounts Payable Responsible for the authorized payment of legal claims from vendors.
Payroll Responsible for the authorized payment of wages and benefits to County employees.
